Sunday 7 October 2012

Good afternoon everyone,

I would like to  share with you a House Mouse Card which I have made for the Joanna Sheen Autumn challenge blog hop. I was asked to be a guest designer and we all had to use the same stamped image and papers. The challenge finishes tomorrow today so there is still time to enter if you want to. Here is a link to the challenge blog http://joannasheenchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/autumn-blop-hop.html for more details. There are some fab prizes up for grabs.Winners will be announced on Monday.

The image is from House Mouse Tumble Stamp sheet. Aren't they just the cutest mices.
I stamped the image and coloured in using promarkers, sandstone & blush for the mouse and leaf green & gold for the leafs. I then inked around the image with Tim Holtzs distress inks Fired Brick and Spiced Marmalade. I matted and layered the patterned paper onto brown card and then layed onto an 8 x 8 card blank. Then I die-cut several leaves uisng brown & green card and placed down both sides.  I tied a bow with some brown embossed ribbon  and added a sentiment . I hope you like it.
