FOLLOW A SKETCH TUTORIAL FOR JOANNA SHEEN CHALLENGE BLOG.

Hi all.

It's my turn for a tutorial this week and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed making it.

So here goes.

Firstly I made a sketch in word.
(Please feel free to use it).
Using the House Mouse Triple CD Rom print off a topper and backing paper
of your choice. Also a contrasting paper.
sheet of your choice onto gentle gloss photo paper
You can find the CD

Using a 7 x 7 card base

Matt and Layer the main backing paper onto coloured card.
I have chosen red to pick out the colour of the red berries of the holly.

Then cut a strip of coloured card the same width of the base layer.
Matt and layer the contrasting backing paper on to the strip of card.

Place it across the middle of the card.

Matt and layer the topper of your choice onto the
same coloured card as already used.

Place it into the middle of the card using glue gel to give it some height.

Using one the sentiments from the topper sheet
matt it onto some coloured card to make it stand out and add 2 die cut
snowflakes. In the centre, place some faux pearls.

Place 3 faux pearls into the top right corner to finish the card.

The card is now finished.
I find following a sketch gives me inspiration
and you can interpret it in many ways. I always
try to add a little twist to finish the project off.
Thank you for following my tutorial and
hope it has given you some inpsiration.
Thank you
Sharon DT
